  2.    Thank you for evaluating WFXAUTO.
  3.  
  4.    WFXAUTO was developed because I found it to be a pain to close Winfax
  5.    every time I wanted to run another program that used the COM port, only
  6.    to forget to restart it when I was finished. WFXAUTO is the answer!
  7.  
  8.    When WFXAUTO is installed it will disable Winfax auto-receive, launch
  9.    your application, wait until it is finished then re-enable Winfax
  10.    auto-receive.
  11.  
  12.    If by chance Winfax is not running, WFXAUTO will simply launch your
  13.    application without starting Winfax.

  20.    Copy WFXAUTO.EXE to either your WINDOWS directory or any other directory
  21.    that is in your PATH statement.

  23.    This program requires VBRUN300.DLL which is not supplied in this ZIP file.

  27.    PROGRAM USAGE

  30.    To use WFXAUTO you must modify the command line property in Program
  31.    Manager for each program that you want to work with WFXAUTO. Described
  32.    below are step by step instructions.

  34.      1. Highlight the Program Manager icon that you wish to modify.
  35.  
  36.      2. Select File/Properties... from the menu bar.
  37.  
  38.      3. Change the command line so that it is prefixed by WFXAUTO and
  39.         make sure that the application directory is in your path or
  40.         specify it's location in the working directory entry.
  41.  
  42.         For example to run PROCOMM PLUS FOR Windows:
  43.  
  44.                 Command Line: WFXAUTO pw.exe
  45.            Working Directory: C:\PROWIN
  46.  
  47.      Note: This procedure will change your application icon to that of
  48.            WFXAUTO to change the icon to your applications follow these
  49.            steps:

  51.      4. Click on change icon.
  52.  
  53.      5. Click on browse.
  54.  
  55.      6. Change to the directory where your application is located
  56.  
  57.      7. Select your application *.EXE file and click on OK
  58.  
  59.      8. Select the icon and click on OK
  60.  
  61.      When all parameters have been entered click on OK. You are done.

  63.      Now every time you execute your program. WFXAUTO will disable
  64.      auto-receive and launch your application.
